Aline's Insights view turns your workflows into a live picture of how your contract operation is running — how long things take, where work is piling up, and what's gone stale. Instead of guessing, you can see cycle times, workloads, and status breakdowns across your whole team at a glance.
Use Insights when you want to understand throughput and bottlenecks: how long contracts take to move from request to signature, who's carrying the most work, and which agreements have been sitting too long.
What Insights Shows You
The Insights view brings together the key operational metrics for your workflows:
Cycle time — how long workflows take to complete, so you can spot where things slow down.
Workload — open workflows broken down by type and by assignee, so you can see how work is distributed across the team.
Stale items — workflows that have been open 90+ days, so nothing quietly falls through the cracks.
Completion rates — how many workflows are getting finished over a given period.
Time-in-status — how long workflows sit in each stage, which is often where the real bottleneck hides.
You can also build custom charts to track the specific cuts of data your team cares about.
Getting Started
Open Insights from the workflows tab.
Review the default charts for cycle time, workload, and status.
Use the filters to focus on a specific workflow type, assignee, or time period.
To track something specific, create a custom chart and choose the metric and grouping you want.
Reading the Numbers
A rising time-in-status for one stage points to a bottleneck worth investigating — often a review or approval step that needs more owners.
The stale items view (90+ days) is your cleanup list: workflows to chase, close, or reassign.
Workload by assignee helps you rebalance before someone becomes a single point of failure.
💡 Best Practice: Check Insights on a regular cadence — for example, at the start of each week or month — and use the stale-items and time-in-status views to decide where to focus. Insights is most useful as a routine habit, not a one-off report.
